State Recognition Program of Multiple Pathways to Biliteracy and State Seal of Biliteracy
AB 2303 (Bloom) would have established a state recognition and award program for school districts with articulated and comprehensive multiple paths to biliteracy, and criteria for achieving a multiple pathway biliteracy district recognition award. The bill also contained descriptions of program models and language learning opportunities that can be combined into comprehensive pathways, preschool through high school. The bill was held in Senate Appropriation but will be submitted again during the next legislative session. Click link below for bill language.
